INNOVATION RELAY CENTRE (IRC)

IRC Scotland is your local link into a Network of almost 250 technology support organisations spread throughout 32 European countries. The IRC Network helps local companies source the best available technologies to suit their needs from the best available suppliers. The Network also provides a channel through which local businesses can take their own technologies and know-how to new markets anywhere in Europe.

IRC Scotland works with our Academic, Industrial and Research organisations to help them :-

identify and acquire innovative new technologies,

sell or licence their own innovations, and/or,

enter into joint development partnerships across Europe.

IRC Scotland also helps Scottish organisations find suitable R&D partners, and secure European (FP7) funding for R&D projects.

IRC Scotlands advisers work with organisations across all technology and industry sectors.

IRC Scotland is jointly funded by the European Commission, Scottish Enterprise and Highlands & Islands Enterprise. IRC Scotlands services are free to clients.
